This year’s event will be virtual and feature educational workshops for AMA-chartered organizers.

Friday, Dec. 11
8-9:30 p.m: Soliciting Sponsors for Your Event

Saturday, Dec. 12
Noon-1:30 p.m: Surveying Riders/Getting Event Feedback
2-3:30 p.m: Promoting Your AMA Event
4-5:30 p.m: Utilizing AMA Organizer Resources
5:30-6 p.m: Update from the AMA Government Relations Department

Competition Commissions

During AMA Congress, AMA Commission members will meet to discuss the creation and enforcement of technical and operational rules and guidelines for AMA amateur competition events and activities sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association. The AMA Congress is held annually for AMA Commissions. Read the official 2019 Congress Communique for more information.

Submitting AMA Competition Rule Proposals and Agenda Items

Proposals may be submitted at any point in the season. For proposals to be included in the printed agenda for the 2019 AMA Congress, they must be submitted no later than Oct. 31, 2019. Only AMA Commission Members may submit proposals.

All business by the AMA Competition Commissions is subject to review and approval by the AMA Board of Directors. Rules adopted by commissions during meetings and ratified by the AMA Board of Directors are incorporated into subsequent AMA Rulebooks, which are published annually.
