AMA Legends & Champions Weekend

Honoring Past Legends, Celebrating Tomorrow’s Stars

AMA Legends & Champions Weekend includes the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where the new class of the Hall of Fame is honored and inducted, and the AMA Championship Banquet that celebrates the achievements of the best in AMA-sanctioned racing.

The weekend is one of the biggest annual celebrations in motorcycling, with the gala celebrations held Dec. 6-7 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio. Reservations can be made now at a special rate. Visit https://aws.passkey.com/e/49921089.

During the AMA Championship Banquet, class champions will receive medals and No. 1 plates, while second- and third-place finishers also will receive awards.

Winners of special annual awards, such as the AMA Athlete of the Year awards, will be announced, as well.

The AMA also will recognize top clubs and promoters in the competition and recreational riding categories.

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio, is just a short drive from downtown Columbus. In addition to the ceremonies, the formal dedication of the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 will take place Dec. 7 at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. The AMA Championship Banquet will be back at the Hilton that evening.

The weekend also includes the 2019 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the AMA Racing Commissions meetings—where discussions of rules governing amateur racing at the annual AMA Congress take place—and the annual AMA Member Meeting.
